Conference venue and Program

Conference Venue –
Örebro Concert Hall

Örebro concert hall was built between 1930 and 1932 as a home for both the city library and concert activities. It was inaugurated on 2 April 1932 by Prince Eugen. It is located at Fabriksgatan next to Svartån in central Örebro. Until 1981, when the library moved to a new building on Näbbtorgsgatan, the building was home to both concert activities and the city library. Today, the concert hall is home to the local concert music in Örebro and the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, which has 38 full-time musicians (2009). The house also hosts hired events and other types of temporary arrangements.
